Hey, I’m Alex.

A mum of 3, step mum to 4, horse addict, book worm, with a huge passion for physiological birth.

I’ve been a Doula for over 12 years. I’m an antenatal educator, doula mentor and founder of The Original Birth Connection ( a doula training company).

I passionately believe that everyone deserves the care and support of a doula that is confident in their knowledge and skills to support them on their journey into parenthood.

As your doula I’m here to help you navigate pregnancy and birth, ensuring feel well supported by your healthcare provider, and that you feel you can make choices you’re feel truly comfortable with.

If you wish I can hold the space for you to birth outside of the maternity system. I’m experienced with providing emotional and physical support if you choose an unassisted birth.

Your birth will be as unique as you are and you deserve to birth exactly as you choose.

I support you to birth your baby however you choose. I’m comfortable supporting you to birth unassisted by maternity services if you feel this is the right path for you.
