Postnatal support

1:1 support through the 4th trimester

Postnatal support

Life with a newborn can be joyful and overwhelming, especially with your first baby or without support. A doula cares for you, offers practical help, and listens during the early postpartum weeks.

New parents, an African-American man and a Caucasian woman, lovingly holding and kissing their newborn baby in a hospital room.

Postnatal support

The weeks after birth can feel like a lot — even when things are going well. Postnatal support is about giving you the space and practical help to find your feet, at your own pace.

I can help with infant feeding (I'm a trained Breastfeeding Peer Supporter), navigating the early weeks of sleep and feeding patterns, and debriefing your birth experience when you're ready to talk it through. I'm also happy to do a load of washing, cook you something decent, or just be a calm presence while you rest. If you need signposting to local services, I can help with that too.

Whether you're recovering from a caesarean or simply want reliable, regular support in those early weeks, postnatal care is tailored to what you actually need.
